Nimbula joins OpenStack Community

On October 15, the OpenStack summit started in San Diego, California. The four days event is sold out this year, forcing a live streaming of the key note sessions.
One of the biggest news of the first day was the announcement of Nimbula joining OpenStack Community.
Nimbula, the software company founded by two of the leaders of Amazon EC2, is going to collaborate on some improvements to the OpenStack codebase, and of course it will incorporate OpenStack services in future Nimbula Director releases.
Only a couple of weeks ago Nimbula Director, the product that allows enterprises and service providers to build easily and rapidly a full infrastructure, was choosen by Russian Yandex for its private cloud infrastructure.

The OpenStack Summit started with COO Mark Collier announcing that over 1,300 people were registered at the conference. Among the announcements of the first day of the conference:

Mark Collier, COO of the OpenStack Foundation introduced the partnership with Nimbula:
