Platform9 raises $10M series B Funding

OpenStack startup Platform9, provider of a cloud management platform that transforms the on-premises servers infrastructures into private clouds, announced to have closed a $10 million series B funding. The round was led by Menlo Ventures and Redpoint Ventures. Platform9’s total financing with this funding is $14.5 million.

Headquarter in Sunnyvale, California and founded 2013, Platform9 was created by former VMware Engineers with the aim to make private clouds easy for any kind of organizations. The service is the 1st 100% cloud managed platform for KVM, VMware vSphere and Docker.

Platform9 announced that the funding will be used to accelerate product roadmap for its customer base.
