Red Hat acquires eNovance

Today Red Hat announced to have signed a definitive agreement to acquire eNovance an important player in the OpenStack integration services market.

The purpose of this acquisition, is to give a boost to the area dedicated to OpenStack consulting, design and deployment, in order to support cloud service providers and enterprises in building large OpenStack-based public and private clouds.

eNovance was founded in 2008 and first partnered with Red Hat in 2013 and among its customer stand out Cisco, Axa, Ericsson and Orange.

The value of the acquisition is approximately €50 million in cash and €20 million in shares of Red Hat common stock, and is expected to close in June 2014.
