Release: CiRBA 8.0

CiRBA has announced the release of version 8.0 of its capacity management solution, adding support for Microsoft Hyper-V. CiRBA already supported the VMware ESX, IBM PowerVM on AIX and Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization (RHEV) platforms. CiRBA’s policy-based engine provides the precision required to confidently transform server infrastructure, automatically control VM placements, and predict future capacity requirements.

The CiRBA Capacity Control Console is provided for VMware, Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization, IBM PowerVM running on AIX and now Microsoft Hyper-V. CiRBA also provides a Transformation tool which helps modeling server and data center transformations, and new in this version the Reservation Console which automates the entire process of selecting the optimal hosting environment for new workloads and reserving compute and storage capacity.
