Release: MadeiraCloud Pysa Alpha

We’ve already mentioned MadeiraCloud, a Beijing-based cloud startup focused on “IDE” for AWS, as a company with an interesting new approach to common problems related to configuration and management of cloud instances.

Last week MadeiraCloud introduced Pysa an open-source configuration reverse engineering tool able to replicate an existing server configuration without cloning the entire machine.

Pysa is able to scan a linux-based virtualized or physical server and reverse engineers its configuration gaining informations to generate “autoconf” scripts in puppet format that could be useful in a lot of migration cases.
