Release: Microsoft System Center Cloud Services Process Pack for System Center 2012 SP1

Microsoft has released a new version of the Cloud Services Process Pack (CSPP) supporting the System Center components part of Service Pack 1 for System Center. The Cloud Service Process Pack is a service solution for automating the deployment of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). The CSPP once implemented offers a self-service experience using the Service Manager self-service portal to facilitate private cloud capacity requests from your business unit IT application owners and end users, including the flexibility to request additional capacity as business demands increase.

The Process Pack leverages the following System Center products:

  • System Center 2012 Service Manager
  • System Center 2012 Orchestrator
  • System Center 2012 Virtual Machine Manager
  • System Center 2012 Operations Manager

After installation the CSPP offers the following service requests:

  • Tenant Registration Requests
  • Tenant Update Registration Requests
  • Cloud Resources Subscription Requests
  • Cloud Resources Update Subscription Requests
  • Virtual Machine Requests
  • Virtual Machine Update Requests
  • Tenant Registration Cancellation Requests
  • Cloud Resources Subscription Cancellation Requests
  • Service Requests
