Yesterday Red Hat announced the launch of ManageIQ community, announced this May with the participation of partners such Chef, CiRBA and VMTurbo, with the idea to provide a comprehensive open source Cloud Management Platform.
The announcement includes the availability of ManageIQ platform, basically the open source version of Red Hat’s CloudForms, that provides chargeback, service orchestration, lifecycle management and automated workflows to private cloud implementations.
You can download and install as a self-contained virtual appliance ready for OpenStack, RHEV, oVirt and VMware vSphere environments.
