Splunk and CloudShare collaboration at past VMworld 2012, aimed to demonstrate how the Splunk App for VMware could help CloudShare to get a better insight into the infrastructure.The two companies apparently are working together since August 2012. Splunk, the company founded 2003 and based in San Francisco produces a software for real-time operational intelligence, while CloudShare is a cloud solution for pre-production cloud for dev and test, demos and POCs, focusing on development and testing, training and sales enablement.
The Splunk App for VMware would allow CloudShare to get a more detailed performance of its virtual infrastructure, being able to track virtual machines and hosts to balance capacity.
