MadeiraCloud raises $1.5M in Series A funding

From China a new wind of changes came to stay, Beijing-based cloud startup focusing on “IDE” for Amazon Web Services MadeiraCloud developer of a graphical monitoring and management product, has just been awarded with a new round of funding.

MadeiraCloud’s product provides a self-service interface to create a graphical scheme of the architecture and resources used by an application, that allows IT Administrators to design and deploy AWS based architectures with an intuitive visualization.

We noticed MadeiraCloud because its management interface has a clever approach which allows users to implement and manage an architecture while facilitating control and change management over time. MadeiraCloud just announced full support for AWS’s VPCs for its product, that is basically at the same level of management of AWS and it could become its main frenemy.

At the moment the product only supports AWS but MadeiraCloud has just raised $1.5M in series A funding from Sequoia Capital, on top of about $160,000 in seed funding,  the company announced that is going to use this new round of funding for the development team and to market the product and hopefully for the support of other cloud providers.
