Yandex opted for Nimbula Director for its private cloud infrastructure

On October 1st, Yandex, a Russian Internet company which develops a number of Internet-based services and products and owns the largest search engine in Russia announced to have choosen Nimbula Director for its private cloud infrastructure.
Quality assurance is a big part of our improvements, that’s why we need a reliable, flexible and easy to maintain solution to support our development process, we have an in-house private cloud system and we have tried a few open source and proprietary solutions to improve our Infrastructure-as-aService environment. Nimbula Director meets all our requirements and lets us dramatically cut the time for testing and deployment.
Yandex is one of the biggest search engines in the world, and they have high standards for service quality and time to market. We are very proud that they have chosen Nimbula Director to power their private cloud and play such an important role in their delivery cycle, we see more and more development companies realize the benefits of the cloud, and it’s great to see the huge benefits Yandex is able to achieve with our technology.
